Dear Video-enthusiast!

We are ambitiously looking for members to join a new video-team for promoting this year’s edition of TEDxEde, including its speakers, sponsors and team! Last year, the event grew to an inspiring and successful day for an audience of approximately 500 lucky ones that got invited to the event. This year, however, the event needs to be bigger, better, more innovative and, most of all, more creative!

Therefore, Wieteke Lankhaar, head of the marketing and communications team of TEDxEde, and  I, Niels Anbeek, member of marketing and communications and responsible for this video team, are planning to use video to deliver even more convincing, exciting and professional content to our marketing channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and our website. This cannot happen, however, without full team of enthusiastic crazy team-members who would love to work together on this voluntary, but professional video project! We are looking for the following team members:

Camera – Do you have focus, are your hands and shoulders steady, and are you creative with extreme close ups, zooming, panning en tilting? Then you are our camerahero!

Editor – Are you skilled with Avid, Final Cut or Premiere Pro? Do you have a sense how to combine individual shots into a trendy, fast-paced and professional clip? We would love to make you our editor!

After Effects & Cinema 4D – Do you know how to transform our TEDxEde designs into a leader and bumper? Are you able to apply colour corrections, filters and a green screen? Do you love to give a clip just that extra touch and feel?

Video Assistant – We got this one covered! At your service! I, Niels, am your assistant! As much as I would to perform in any of the above roles, I am sadly enough, even after 5 years of professional experience at the NOS, Endemol Sport, Fox Sports and many more, still only able to perform either of these functions on a millions dollar machine (called an EVS). Therefore, I will carry your lights, battery packs, cables and green screens!

I would love to get into contact with you, even if you only have some questions about the roles of the team, and the event. Therefore, I'm looking forward to have a cup of coffee to talk about your ideas!

Kind regards,

Niels Anbeek
